How Publishing Works
LinkAssist ensures reliable scheduled publishing:
- Scheduling: When you schedule a post, it's queued for publishing
- Publishing: At the scheduled time, your post goes live on LinkedIn
- Notification: You receive confirmation of success or failure
- Automatic Retry: Failed posts retry automatically to ensure delivery
Publishing requires an active LinkedIn connection. If your connection expires, scheduled posts will fail until you reconnect.

Scheduling Best Practices
Consistency Matters
- Post at consistent times so your audience knows when to expect content
- Use the same days each week for similar content types
Avoid Oversaturation
- Don't schedule more than 1-2 posts per day
- Space out posts by at least 4-6 hours
Consider Time Zones
- If your audience is global, alternate posting times
- LinkedIn shows posts in viewers' local time zones
Plan Ahead
- Schedule content at least 1 week in advance
- Use campaigns for consistent long-term scheduling
Monitor and Adjust
- Review publishing success in your notifications
- Check analytics to verify posts went live
- Reconnect LinkedIn if you see failures
Troubleshooting
Post Didn't Publish
Common causes:
- LinkedIn connection expired → Reconnect in Settings
- Subscription expired → Upgrade or renew
- Post was deleted → Check trash
Wrong Time Published
Check:
- Time zone settings in your profile
- Whether daylight saving time affected the schedule
Duplicate Posts
If a post published twice:
- Delete the duplicate from LinkedIn
- Contact support if the issue persists
