Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your LinkAssist account from the Profile settings at any time. Upon request, your account data is securely archived in accordance with our data retention policy and subsequently removed from active systems.
Account deletion is permanent after 30 days. Make sure you want to proceed before confirming.
What Happens After Deletion
When you delete your account:
- Your account is securely archived first
- Your data can be recovered within 30 days
- After 30 days, permanent removal happens
- Only anonymized analytics may be retained for platform improvement
How to Delete Your Account
Open Profile Menu
Click your profile name to open the account menu
Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings
Open Profile Section
Open the Profile section
Find Account Deletion
Scroll to Account Deletion & Data Archival
Click Delete Account
Click Delete Account button
Confirm Action
Confirm that you want to delete your account
Important Before Deleting
Deleting your account will:
- Remove your saved swipe posts
- Delete templates and frameworks
- Disconnect your extension
- Remove profile personalization
This action should only be taken if you are sure you no longer need the account.
Data Retention Policy
After account deletion:
- Personal data is removed from active systems
- Billing records may be retained for legal/accounting requirements
- Anonymized usage data may be kept for platform analytics
- LinkedIn connection is automatically revoked
Recovery Window
You have 30 days to recover your account after deletion:
- Contact Support within 30 days
- Provide account verification details
- Your account can be restored with all data
After 30 days, recovery is not possible.
